Our pieces carry puff appliqué, embroidery, sublimation print and laser-etched denim. Treated right they'll last years. Treated badly they'll crack, fade or shrink. Here's how to keep them sharp.
The short version
- Wash cold, 30°C / 86°F or below
- Turn inside out before washing
- Hang dry — never tumble dry
- Never iron directly over a graphic or appliqué
- Don't bleach
Heavyweight fleece — hoodie & sweatsuit sets
Turn inside out, cold wash on a gentle cycle, hang dry. The 3D puff lettering is the thing to protect: heat is what cracks it. Keep it out of the dryer and never press an iron onto it. If you need to remove a crease, steam the garment from the inside.
Woven polyester — tracksuits and windbreakers
Cold machine wash, gentle cycle, hang dry in shade. Avoid fabric softener, which coats the fibres and kills the wind-resistant finish. No ironing on panelled or printed areas; if you must, use a low setting on the inside with a cloth between.
Sublimation jersey — polos and soccer jerseys
Cold wash inside out. Sublimation print won't peel because it's dyed into the fibre, but hot water will dull it over time. Hang dry. Don't iron the print.
Denim — jacket and jeans sets
Wash as little as you can — denim improves with wear and every wash costs you colour. When you do, turn inside out, cold wash alone or with dark colours only, and hang dry flat. The laser-etched web pattern and embroidered appliqués don't like heat, so stay out of the dryer entirely. Spot-clean small marks with cold water and a cloth rather than running a full cycle.
French terry — rugby sets
Cold wash inside out, gentle cycle, hang dry. Keep the embroidered crest away from direct iron contact.
Storing
Hang jackets, tracksuit tops and denim. Fold heavyweight hoodies rather than hanging them — the weight of the fleece will stretch the shoulders over time.
First wash
Wash dark pieces separately for the first two or three cycles. Deep colours and denim indigo can transfer.
